I love remembering that nothing is set in stone and that provided someone has desired a change or an improvement in some area of their life that they can experience that positive change.
The physical world as perceived through the physical senses can at times appear fairly fixed and it can be easy to almost be ‘tricked’ into thinking that physical events, experiences and things outside of your control are the cause of what is happening in your life and how you feel, rather than your own thinking. However, the Law of Attraction explains that thought is the cause of everything that is experienced and that there is nothing that cannot be changed through changing your thinking. Indeed, everything is always in motion and when someone feels stuck the only thing that is happening is that they are thinking the same thoughts and therefore attracting the same things to themselves. Although, the moment their thoughts change what they experience will also change.
It has been said that a belief is only a thought that you keep thinking, so by consistently thinking new better feeling thoughts you will change your beliefs and this will change your life experience. Over the last ten years since I have been working with the Law of Attraction I have repeatedly seen that as people change their thoughts that what they experience also changes and very often remarkably quickly and in what can seem to be the most amazing ways. It really appears to me that the universe is wanting to yield wonderful things to people constantly and it only requires them doing their part of changing their focus as best as they can.
When practising thinking more about what you do want to experience, you can guide your thinking by observing which thoughts feel the best as when you are focusing on thoughts that feel good you are always moving in a positive direction.
For most leverage in positively changing your life it is extremely beneficial to adopt a regular Law of Attraction practice and to focus a little while in advance of what you would like to experience, as this gives the universe time to line things up. As part of a regular routine it can be helpful to practice telling a new story about what it is that you would ideally want to experience. You could do this either in your mind or by talking to other people about your ideal life as if you are living it now.
Another powerful method to positively transform your life is to appreciate the good things that are in your current life, because the fastest way to get from where you are to where you want to be is to make the best of where you are as this puts you into a mode of allowing what you do want to experience.
A key point is that you can start from wherever you are to begin to change your thinking and you don’t have to change it completely in one go. Rather by doing your best to be positive and focus on what you want you will begin to shift your point of attraction and to have access to more better feeling thoughts.
In addition, from my experience you don’t even have to believe that you can create what you want to start with, it is simply necessary to focus on it anyway. I remember when I first came across the Law of Attraction philosophy and it sounded like a great idea but I didn’t know if it worked and I thought that I’d put it to the test for myself. Interestingly, there were a few things that I didn’t initially believe I could experience or create but that I focused on anyway and they did all come into fruition.
Another important aspect of working with the Law of Attraction is that if any challenges come up it is very helpful not to spend too much time thinking about them other than to identify how you do want to feel and what you do want to experience, and to then shift your focus onto that. By more rapidly changing your focus onto what you do want to experience you will more quickly gain momentum in a wanted direction.
